I wanted more depth to the face, so I mixed up a 1:1 bistre/umber matte and went over the whole face again. Luckily, a solid black line makes that vanish completely. Le glass for the lips spread a lot more than I'd expected it to, so Ian's ruby reds are just gonna have to be a little bigger than I think he'd intended. I also got ahead of myself and forgot to trace in the petal lines for the roses, so trying to lay down the shadows without any guidelines.
